Age Groups
The Penguin Club is a facility available for children from 6 months to 12 years of age, divided into specific age groups:
Infants (6 months to 3 years of age) are welcome to use the facilities at the Penguin Village when accompanied by parents.
Children from 3 to 5 years of age enjoy a full activity programme with a large variety of activities such as painting, modelling, sculpting with glue, imaginative games, water play, fruit picking (that includes learning how to cook and prepare what was picked). Activities are designed to be fun, but equally to develop young skills and dexterity.
Children from 6 to 12 years of age enjoy a more active and challenging programme. The children are able to enjoy introductory swimming, golf and tennis lessons. Many activities include the parents' participation, such as the weekly family summer barbecue. Fine manipulative creation activities are programmed to develop the skills, as our professionals believe that it is more important and efficient to learn while having fun, this age group gets to work with: clay, tile painting, jewellery making, baking and numerous activities with paper.
After a certain age, during their teen years, youngsters find themselves wanting to break free from the Penguin Village area and activities. These are teens that want to express their independence and free will. However, our team has not forgotten that even wanting to express themselves as autonomous individuals, offering them group activities to socialize with others is important. And for this reason with have our Junior Activities for teens up to the age of 16.
